Meeting Leo Brouwer

In June 2018, I had the honor of meeting Leo Brouwer. Mr. Brouwer is one of the most prominent names in the classical guitar world,  Meeting him at GFA in Louisville Kentucky was an exciting experience; To meet the composer of some of the music I played for years is certainly thrilling. here is a little excerpt about him from his web page:

Juan Leovigildo Brouwer Mezquida (born March 1, 1939) is a Cuban composer, conductor, and classical guitarist.  He is the grandson of Cuban composer Ernestina Lecuona y Casado.
His great-uncle, Ernesto Lecuona, composed “La Malagueña” and his second cousin, Margarita Lecuona, composed “Babalú”, which was popularized by Cuban musician and actor Desi Arnaz. He is a Member of Honour of the International Music Council. (Link to full Wikipedia page)
